Overview

Recorded sounds are used in various call flow items such as Auto Attendant, Announcements, and more. You can upload and manage recorded sounds through the PBX system.

Configuration

  1. Create a Recording

    • Navigate to Recorded Sounds.
    • Select Add Recording.
    • Enter a name for the recording.
  2. Upload a Sound File

    • Choose a file from your local device (supported formats: wav, mp3, mp4, m4a).
    • Upload the file to the PBX system.
  3. Assign System Dial Code

    • Select a system dial code to update the recording using a handset.

Usage

  • Use recorded sounds in Auto Attendant, Announcements, and other call flows.
  • Ensure the recordings are clear and provide the necessary information to the callers.

Best Practices

  • Regularly update recorded sounds to reflect current information.
