While primarily intended for gaming, it can also be used to record any on-screen activity, including Microsoft Teams meetings. This guide explains how to use Xbox Game Bar to record Teams meetings discreetly.
Steps to Record a Teams Meeting:
Join or Start the Meeting: Begin by joining or starting the Microsoft Teams meeting that you wish to record.
Launch Xbox Game Bar: Press Windows + G on your keyboard to open the Xbox Game Bar overlay.
Start Recording: In the Xbox Game Bar window, click the Start Recording icon to begin capturing your screen.
Stop Recording: To end the recording, click the Stop Recording icon next to the timer.
Locate the Recording: After stopping the recording, you can find the saved file by opening File Explorer and navigating to the following path:
C:\Users\[Your-Username]\Videos\Captures
Replace [Your-Username]
with your profile name on your PC.
Important Notes:
- This method does not require special permissions within Microsoft Teams.
